When they tell you Angel Dust makes you crazy, believe it!
Officer Scott Bloom and his K-9 patrol partner were on their beat in West Haven, Ct. when they noticed a man approaching them. The man, later identified as Roderick Lewis asked the police officer for “A bag of dust”.
As Lewis 23 continued to approach the police officer he put his hand in his waistband. The officer quickly grabbed Lewis’ arm and told him to stop! That’s when Lewis swung on him. Lewis a regular from the hood, had mad skills and connected, hitting the officer in the face. So much for police training.
That’s when the police dog jumped out of the squad car, and bit into Lewis’ leg. Well Lewis wasn’t having that. He did some biting himself. He bit right into the dog’s side. He clamped on like a pit-bull, and refused to let the dog go until he was physically pulled off of him.
Lewis was charged with assault on an officer, disorderly conduct and now cruelty to animals.
