A 1-year-old boy from Brazil named Lorenzo is already more of a man than I’ll ever be. The boy’s mother, Jaine Ferreira, claims she knew something was wrong earlier this month when her son got real quiet while playing in the room next to her.
And when she went to check on him, she was shocked to see little Lorenzo sitting there with a snake in his mouth and blood on his face and hands. At first, she feared for her child’s life, but then she realized it was her son who did all the biting.
Lorenzo was apparently playing with the snake like it was one of his toys. His father had to come in to pull the snake out of his mouth. They took their boy to get checked out, but doctors found no signs that he had been bitten by the snake.
The doctors who looked at the snake claim the boy is extremely lucky because the snake was a venomous pit viper. However, experts who have viewed photos of the snake believe it was a non-venomous water snake.
Either way, Lorenzo is a freaking badass. I freak out when a mosquito lands on me. If I found a snake rubbing up against my leg? I’d probably kill myself.
