Let’s pretend you are a mother for a minute. A mother to a 14-year-old girl who really wants a baby, and she’s willing to do anything to get one.
How do you handle this situation? Hopefully not like 47-year-old Elaine Williams. She decided the best option was to post an online ad asking mothers to drop off their unwanted babies at her home because she needed one for her daughter.
Forsyth County sheriff’s deputy Epifanio Rodriguez released a statement yesterday, explaining the ad asked mothers to drop off the babies in a “baby box” located at Williams’ house.
I’m not 100% sure what a baby box is, but I imagine her version of the box looks something like this…
Police arrested Williams and charged her with with domestic-unlawful advertisement/inducement for adoption of children. They did not arrest her daughter; however, she is facing the same charge as her mother.
