At least he was prepared, right? ‘Texas Man’ continues to steal the bright ideas of Florida Man. This time last year, we posted a story about a 50-year-old man in Florida who was arrested for drugs while wearing a shirt that read, “Who needs drugs? No, seriously, I have drugs.”
Now we have 47-year-old Adrian Harold Pounders from a little town in Texas 100 miles north of Houston. A traffic stop in the area led authorities to his house on Sunday. Officers had reason to believe Pounders was hiding a large amount of drugs inside.
The Crockett Police Department executed a search warrant, and they found exactly what they were looking for. The search team found methamphetamine and several other items of drug paraphernalia inside.
He was arrested shortly after the search wearing the beautiful t-shirt you see above. Officers charged him with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia. In addition to the two drug charges, Pounders was also charged with Abandoning/Endangering a child because his juvenile son was inside the home at the time.
Don’t meth with Texas.
