49-year-old Elizabeth L. Johnson clearly wasn’t thinking straight when a police officer stopped the car she was riding in just after midnight on Friday. She was a passenger in the vehicle, and probably would have escaped without getting arrested, but unfortunately she panicked.
When the officer walked up to the car, he noticed Johnson shoving something down her bra. He ordered her to exit the vehicle, but she refused and decided to lock the doors. She yelled at the officer that she wasn’t going to get out.
Eventually, the officers at the scene were able to convince her to exit the car. Once outside the vehicle, she continued to yell at the officers, and claimed she did not have anything illegal on her.
And to prove this, Johnson decided to flash the officers. “Fine, you want to see what I have,” she reportedly yelled while lifting up her shirt and bra.
A crack pipe fell to the ground during the flashing, and yes it tested positive for cocaine. Johnson was arrested and charged with obstructing official business, possession of cocaine, and possession of drug paraphernalia.
By the way, the officer initially made the stop because the driver failed to use a turn signal. So yeah, that’s the lesson here. If you’re hiding cocaine in your car…make sure you follow the rules of the road.
