For some people, it’s really difficult to see their former partner dating someone new, and for the 29-year-old woman in this story, it’s more than difficult. It’s infuriating, and enough to make her go insane.
Michelle Suzanne Hadley has been charged with felony stalking, violating a protective order, assault and attempted forcible rape. Hadley and her former boyfriend dated for two years. After their split in 2015, her boyfriend found a new woman and ended up marrying her.
After the wedding, Hadley lost her mind and started sending her ex-boyfriend’s wife death threats online. She even threatened to kill their unborn child. The report states she routed the threatening emails through multiple computers and servers to avoid detection by law enforcement.
Eventually, the wife was able to get a restraining order against Hadley. But as you might have guessed, that didn’t stop her. It only made her work harder.
In June, she put up an ad on Craigslist posing as the wife. She wrote that she wanted to engage in “rape fantasies,” and sexual acts resembling rape. She allegedly responded to the guys wanting more information by showing them photos of the victim and telling them how they could find her. To make this situation more disgusting, she told the responders to have forcible sexual intercourse with the woman even if she screamed and resisted.
And yes, a few deranged dudes actually showed up at the victim’s house and tried to rape her. They were not successful, but one dude did physically attack her before she was able to scream for help.
Hadley is being held on $1 million bail. If she’s convicted, she could get life in state prison.
