Well, this is certainly one way to start a new marriage. An Indian photographer is living the good life right now. He’s relaxing on a spectacular honeymoon to Italy.
The only problem is that his wife is not with him. Two days before Faizan Patel and his wife Sana were scheduled to leave for their two-week trip, Sana realized she had lost her passport.
For some reason, Faizan decided to go on the trip without her, most likely because he hasn’t figured out that “fine” actually means, “hell f—king no.”
Earlier this week he tweeted a photo of himself traveling with a picture of his wife’s face. “This is how I am travelling with my wife as of now,” he wrote. He tagged Sushma Swaraj (India’s minister of external affairs) in the tweet, which ended up being a smart move.
The tweet got her attention and she tweeted back to him and asked for his wife to contact her. Not long after that, Swaraj announced a duplicate passport would be issued.
Problem solved, right? Wrong.
Even though she’ll have the passport, she won’t be getting her visa until after the two-week trip is over. We have to imagine Sana is extra disappointed because she’s the one who planned this trip.
Faizan told CNN, “This trip was entirely planned by her. I wish to see her next to me soon.”
Yeah, but she probably doesn’t wish to see you. You might even want to think about staying in Italy.
