Some people call it art, some people call it stupid, and the police call it a crime. A man by the name of Felix Reagan is facing multiple charges after he participated in what has to be one of the strangest crimes of the year.
According to the report from police, Reagan forced a first-floor window open and stepped inside a home on Martha’s Vineyard in Massachusetts. Once inside, he did what most criminals do when breaking into a home.
He stole some valuable items.
But then things got weird when he painted the victim’s dog purple. After painting the poor dog, Reagan left the scene in a stolen vehicle. Thankfully, a neighbor was able to give police a description of Reagan, and they were able to track him down pretty easily because he crashed the vehicle into a tree.
When officers found him, they discovered he had prescription pills and credit cards that matched the victim. Oh, and he also had purple paint on his f—king pants. While police were taking him to the station, he reportedly tried to kick out the windows of the cruiser and kicked a police officer.
Police charged him with breaking and entering in the daytime with intent to commit a felony, destruction of property, cruelty to animals, larceny of a motor vehicle and two counts of assault and battery on a police officer.
