Patients and the staff at a dentist office in Ohio feared for their lives when they heard shots being fired inside the building.
A man, who was getting a filling, was left alone inside one of the back rooms for just one minute. The dental hygienist had left to go get something. During this time, the man reached for his phone in his pocket, but accidentally grabbed his gun instead.
It went off and he was struck in the hand and side. A patient who was in the next room thought there was an active shooter inside the building, and he claims he was just a few seconds away from jumping out the window.
Paramedics were called and the man was rushed to the hospital. He’s expected to be okay, and police say he had a conceal and carry permit. The dental office doesn’t have any signs banning guns, so it doesn’t look like the dude will face any legal trouble. The staff at the office told reporters they plan to place a sign out front forbidding guns after this incident.
Getting shot in the hand doesn’t even make the top 10 list of worst things that can happen inside a dentist office. I’d take a shot to the hand over the instruments of torture you see below…
