Just when you thought police chases couldn’t surprise you anymore, 35-year-old Joshua Adkins comes along and makes police chases great again.
Police in Phoenix started following Adkins in the city and then it continued into east Valley. It was a pretty normal police chase in the beginning, but then things took a bizarre turn when the dude pulled into an In-N-Out drive-thru.
It looks like he did order food, but he didn’t have time to wait for it. Instead, he drove away and then jumped out of his truck and ran into someone’s backyard. He tried to enter the home through the back door, but he was unable to get inside.
That’s where he surrendered to police and called it a day. He was booked on suspicion of unlawful flight from law enforcement, unlawful imprisonment and aggravated assault-domestic violence.
So it’s easy to see why he tried to get one last fast food meal inside his stomach. I have to say, it would have been extremely impressive had he actually got the food and ate it before police arrested him.
