You want to steal a candy bar? Cool. You’ll probably be able to do it. Heck, throw in a can of soda and some chips while you’re at it. It’s something most of us did at least once as a kid.
The problem is once you grow up, you don’t crave just candy anymore. You’re an adult now and instead of the candy store, you’re hitting up Home Depot and IKEA to buy sh-t for your house.
And household items are much harder to steal than a Snickers. The shoplifter you see in the hilarious photo above tried to steal a 7ft long venetian blind from a Dunelm Mill store, which is basically the U.K. version of Bed Bath & Beyond.
He put the blind up his leg and up the back of his jacket. It looks as if he’s giving E.T. a piggyback ride. Security guards followed the man out of the building. He got scared and dropped the blinds, damaging them in the process.
Police haven’t been able to find the guy. The guards didn’t chase after him. They’re hoping the photos they released will help track him down.
I feel like they should just let him be. He’s probably embarrassed enough. At least he tried, “The biggest mistake you could ever make is being too afraid to make one.”
