I thought my night was bad because I ran out of almond milk and had to eat my cereal dry, but my night was a freaking masterpiece compared to a 34-year-old man in Jersey City.
The dude was walking home just before 7 p.m. when he was approached by a group of people. He was attacked and stabbed in the left calf and left thigh. After the suspects left, he called for an ambulance. He was treated and released from Jersey City Medical Center at around 8:10 p.m.
According to the police, he took the bus home from the hospital, but for some reason he got off at the halfway mark. He decided to walk the rest of the way home, even though he had just survived a stabbing an hour earlier.
As he was walking, he was approached by another group (possibly the same people) and he was stabbed again. This time they sliced his arm open and ran away. The man walked the rest of the way home. His wife noticed him bleeding profusely from his arm and called 911 at around one in the morning.
Sadly, police don’t have much to go on. The man can’t remember exactly where he was when the attacks occurred and he claims his attackers didn’t say one word. He also claimed he couldn’t describe any of them.
Something seems a little suspicious here. Either he’s just too afraid to rat them out, or he’s taking a page from this husband’s book.
