We already reported on the killer seagulls in the U.K., and now people in Michigan are trying to fight off one extremely aggressive turkey. The University of Michigan Police Department is trying to track down the disturbed turkey.
And they are warning people on the school’s North Campus to stay away from the turkey, “Do not try to approach the turkey.” Deputy Police Chief Melissa Overton said.
“He hasn’t hurt anybody, but he’s a very aggressive bird. He’s also created a traffic hazard because apparently he likes to lay down in the middle of the road and not move. It can be very difficult for the buses to get around him.”
Apparently, this turkey has been stalking the grounds for at least a month now. Photos of the turkey first went viral back in June. Police are hoping to catch and relocate the turkey before something bad happens.
“We’ve gotten calls from people who have been trapped and unable to move because he’s cornered them.”
Users on social media are calling the turkey, “Gobbles” and “Dr. Tom Tom“. Click on this link to watch Gobbles in action on Instagram.
