A woman in Ohio refused to enter jail with an empty stomach. According to the reports, a Madison County deputy noticed the unnamed woman driving erratically on Interstate 70.
After getting the woman to pull over, the deputy noticed she was eating a bowl of cereal. Obviously, this shocked the deputy, but things took a serious turn when the woman decided to drive away from the scene. During the 30-mile chase, the cereal-fueled woman reached speeds up to 100 mph.
Officers used stop-sticks once she entered downtown Columbus, but unfortunately they failed to slow her down. A short time later, the woman’s car started to break down. She was forced to jump out of the vehicle, and instead of admitting defeat right there, she decided to lead police on another chase.
But thankfully, this chase was on foot and the woman wasn’t able to run very fast, probably because of all that processed sugar she was eating just minutes before.
She was arrested for driving with a suspended license; however, there will be more charges added to the list soon. No injuries were reported during the chase, and sadly police did not reveal what brand of cereal she was eating.
We’re just going to assume it was Unlucky Charms.
